Last Day of School and Already Planning for Next Year

My first year of teaching is in the books! How am I be celebrating you might ask yourself? The answer is obvious...only by planning for next school year. ;) I have so many ideas of things I would like to improve and things I want to do totally different. While my list of to-do's is a mile long I thought I would start off with creating a science buddy lab for students to complete each quarter. I wanted something that could get students excited about science and bring families something to do together while having fun learning. I thought what better way to do this than science experiments. I loved experiments as a kid. There was a show on PBS Kids called Zoom. I only watched that show for their daily science experiments and would try my best to conduct them in the same manner they did.  This is how I came up with MAD SCIENTIST Buddy Lab Experiments.
